Buzz Rickson's US Navy Pea Coat - Dark Navy

Buzz Rickson’s resurrection of an all-time menswear classic – The US Navy Pea Coat. Buzz Rickson’s excellence originates in their passion to reproduce Vintage garments down to the tiniest detail. True to the original, which has been introduced by the US Navy in the 1910s and issued to petty officers, this Pea Coat is made of thick high-density 36oz Melton Wool and features the early “13 Stars and Anchor” Urea buttons. Especially the large-sized collar defines its design. Form follows function – the collar helped sailors to cover their faces and protect them of the strong winds at sea. The corduroy-lined side pockets helped officers on deck to warm up their hands and numbing fingers. Often copied but never matched – this is the Original!
