Munqa does not use any casting methods, so each item is slightly different in appearance and shape. Similar to vintage Native American jewelry, the artisans melt the silver to create sheet metal. Subsequently, all shapes are hand-cut using custom-made stamps. All intricate details and fine lines are hand-carved using traditional muscle carving techniques.
